Common questions
- How do I open parent mode?In Snirkel: hold your finger on the gear in the top-left corner for one second, then solve the little sum. In Plapre and Rable: hold your finger on the dotted ring in the top-left corner for one second, then answer the multiplication question. In Pusle: hold your finger on the ring in the top-left corner of the home screen for one second, then answer the multiplication question. In Klistre: hold your finger on the ring in the top-left corner of the bookcase for one second, then answer the multiplication question. In Drømsle on the iPad: hold your finger on the ring in the top-left corner of the book room for one second, then answer the multiplication question. On the iPhone, the settings are behind the child’s circle on Home, with no gate.
- Which languages are the apps in?Pusle, Rable and Klistre follow the iPad’s language: English, Swedish, Danish, German or Norwegian, and English for any other language. Snirkel, Plapre and Drømsle are in Norwegian. Snirkel teaches Norwegian handwriting, Plapre teaches English to Norwegian children, and the stories in Drømsle are read in Norwegian.
- Which devices do the apps work on?Our apps are made for iPad, usually iPadOS 17 or later. Drømsle is for iPhone too. The requirements for each app are in the App Store.
- Can several children use the same iPad?Yes. We like it when children share an iPad, and we try to make switching between children simple in all our apps.
- Does progress come with us to a new iPad?Yes, if you move everything with Apple’s own transfer or a backup. We store nothing outside the iPad. The recordings of your child in Plapre and the photos of drawings in Rable are not included in the backup, and stay on the old iPad. Share the photos from Rable or make a PDF first if you want to keep them.
