What we think about kids’ apps
Children are going to use screens. The question isn't whether, but what. We make apps we're comfortable giving our own three-year-old, and let that be the measure for everything we do.

Nordic, for both of you
Nordic design and Nordic values, for the child and for you. Your child learns something properly, at their own pace, and has a cosy time doing it. You get something solid, with no dark patterns and no nagging about subscriptions or content packs. A little hygge for both of you.
Apps should teach and be fun
If children are going to use the iPad, they should learn something from it. Each of our apps has a clear goal: a skill your child takes with them, practised over and over through something fun.
No subscriptions, no coins
We like paying a low price once and being done with it. Our apps are free to try, and one purchase unlocks everything, shared with your family. No subscription, no ads, nothing more to buy inside the app. Honest and fair.
No tricks or dark patterns
No reward wheels, streaks, countdowns or notifications saying “we miss you”. Things like that are made to keep children in an app longer than they want to be there. Children need cuddles, not dopamine.
Made in Norway
Small apps from a family in Oslo, made in Norwegian first. Pusle and Rable are now also in English, Swedish, Danish and German. Snirkel and Plapre stay Norwegian: one teaches Norwegian letters, the other teaches English to Norwegian children.
No tracking
We don't collect data about children. As far as we can, we make our apps work without an account, a login or the internet. What we don't collect, we can't lose.

Our promise to you
Our apps should teach your child something, cost one price once, and be easy to put away at any time without anything being lost. No ads, no subscription, no data leaving the iPad. And we make nothing we wouldn't give our own children.
All of this means you can hand over the iPad for ten minutes without having to check what happened afterwards.
That's the whole ambition.
